The first Brightlingsea Boat Show in 2006,
was organised to bring all the boating businesses and organisations
in Brightlingsea to the attention of a wider audience
and to raise funds for local charities.
More and more businesses and organisations got involved,
from the large established marine companies like
Morgan Marine and French Marine Motors, to the smaller ones!
The 2007 Show included more businesses and local organisations
together with Harbour Trips, music and many visiting boats.
The 2007 Show also saw the arrival of RAIN! (Lots of rain)
This did not dampen the spririts of the exhibitors or visitors
on Saturday, but on Sunday there was even more rain.
The show still attracted many hundreds of visitors who
enjoyed the show and meeting the local business people.
For 2008 we are adding more covered areas - just in case it.........?
There will be a wide range of exhibitors including marine specialists and
local businesses, clubs and local organisations, stalls, fun and games
on the water, seafood and refreshments and this year the show area
will include the Waterside development and marina.
